Welcome to the Art 'n Code Summer Camp, where young minds embark on a thrilling journey of creativity, logic, and imagination! This unique camp is specially designed for elementary kids, providing a dynamic blend of coding fundamentals, game development, and artistic expression. We aim to foster a love for technology and art, encouraging participants to explore their potential in a fun and supportive environment. 

You can sign up for Camp from July 8-12. The maximum amount of kids is 8, and the minimum is 2. The Camp will be from 1-4 pm.

We will be diving into the exciting world of coding with user-friendly drag-and-drop platforms like Scratch and Snap! Whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance your game design talents, this camp is the perfect playground for both beginners and budding developers. Prepare to be amazed by how quickly you can transform your ideas into fun, playable games and level up your coding skills in the process!

 

During the Art portion of the Camp, students will be working on different elements of art including various mediums and techniques. The students will explore the working styles of artists like Picasso and Kandinsky and learn to incorporate their styles into art pieces of their own. These will include paintings, greeting cards, and bookmarks.  We will also include sensory elements like shaving cream, and rocks to help learn de-stressing techniques while creating art. Our projects will help the kids learn and have fun at the same time. We will also play games in-between our art and coding time providing fun and relaxing breaks to the kids.
