About Me ...

Hello, I'm Shreya Poladia, a 16-year-old artist and coding enthusiast. Art has been my lifelong passion, and I've explored various mediums such as acrylics, oil pastels, watercolors, coffee, charcoal, and more. I've not only honed my skills but also shared my love for art through teaching and organizing art shows. My non-profit, "Art for a Cause," has been instrumental in supporting causes close to my heart since 7th grade, hosting annual shows and garnering recognition.

My work has been featured in "Life in Seiner Ranch" and "Greet Steiner Ranch" magazines and two of my paintings recently graced the "Women in Art 2024" exhibition at the Hive Gallery through the Bee Cave Art Foundation.

In addition to my artistic endeavors, I am deeply involved in coding, robotics, AI, and cybersecurity. Participating in Robotics and Girls Who Code since 6th grade, I've excelled in FLL, FTC, and FRC competitions, earning accolades at various levels. As a member of the Robotics team, I've taken on roles such as main builder, Marketing Lead, and Electrical team member, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in the coding and programming process.

Recently, my journey led me to the captivating world of the Robotics FOCUS Program offered through BAE Systems. Selected as one of ten candidates in Austin, Texas, this initiative has been pivotal in my technological journey. Engaging in the program, I contribute to software programming, technical aspects, engage in team strategy development, and actively participate in community outreach planning. This experience serves as a dynamic platform for refining and expanding my leadership repertoire, fostering a holistic understanding of technology within the context of collaborative and strategic endeavors.
